I’m stoked to finally announce that our public beta of chainEDGE is live at: https://chainedge.io/. This is just our first dashboard, so once we formally launch in a month or so there will be more functionality included. You don’t need an email or login to try it out and see what we’ve built so far, offering a seamless look into smart money movements across ETH, BSC, Arbitrum, Polygon, Optimism and Fantom.
When I first got started in crypto, I fell victim to providing exit liquidity to crypto Twitter shill accounts, or even accounts that I thought were smart. I only found trading success when I started watching wallets, and finding opportunities before they were heavily shilled on CT or Tik Tok. Instead of building your own list of wallets to watch, or manually snooping on wallets, chainEDGE will allow you to see all the action in one place, and on a cross chain basis for major EVM chains. While I still get goosebumps thinking of how much better I would have traded if I had this during last year’s euphoria, it has still been helpful in finding emerging narratives and rotations in this PvP market.
chainEDGE Overview + Features:
We started with all available addresses which is over 200mm unique addresses. Then we curated the list of “wallets to watch” or “Sharp Traders” to the top ~10bps of traders, which will be algorithmically updated based on live P&L data. We are releasing the public beta (which requires no login or email) to let anyone take a look at our initial dashboard to get a sense of what we are building before we formally launch a more comprehensive tool in a month. So what features can you see on this public dashboard?
You can see smart money movements across all chains in one unified dashboard, where you can filter amounts by 1, 7 or 30 days.
You can drill down further by filtering flows by chain - for example, you can toggle the Arbitrum chain and see what tokens are seeing smart money inflows and outflows (especially helpful for GMX flows).
From there, you can take another step deeper, and look at the underlying wallets making up our sharp trader movements, to follow which specific sharp traders are making moves in any given token.
We are also still in process of providing smart money balances over time for any token, which will include the token’s price on the chart.
One of my favorite features in the dashboard is that you can drill down to the wallet level to see what their movements are. This is a much more optimal way to look at historical wallet movements than Debank, as everything is consolidated in a much easier to read way. Eventually you will be able to search any wallet and get this dashboard, so you can check on recent token movements in a quick and easy way.
Roadmap / Features:
As mentioned, this dashboard is just for the public beta launch, and we will have many incremental features when we formally launch next month. Some of these features for our base package will include:
Wallet alerts - will give you the ability to set up customized alerts to telegram, email or discord on any wallet’s movements
Analytics - This will include perp positioning (long/short), stablecoin holdings percentages, ETH holding percentages and alt token holding percentages. This will help give a barometer of risk appetite in the market along with trader skew (long or short)
Sharp Trader Ownership - when you drill down into a token, you will be able to see smart money balances over time, along with the token’s price, to get a sense of (1) if sharp money is accumulating but also (2) price levels where they typically buy or sell their holdings
We also have some cool features being built for more of a “premium” package, including popular contract interactions from our sharp trader list, new token launches they are aping into, and Hot Hands, which will show token movements for the best performing P&L traders on a rolling 30 day basis.
Longer term, we will be building out similar functions but for all wallets (so you can see token movements across any coin, any wallet). We also have a charting feature in the works to show when and at what price any wallet has bought or sold a token. We are also developing better wallet labels, including "time based” labels for how long a sharp trader typically holds their investment, so you have a better sense of if it is a longer term conviction trader or more of a rotatoor.
We have other products in the roadmap as well, but are open to feature requests from people interested as we build out the tool in front of you all. We will eventually launch a page for these feature requests to be submitted, but you can always DM me or email me with ideas as well. Feel free to share feedback on what we have so far with me (and please keep in mind that I raised zero VC money to build this and I funded it myself, so parts of the UI are still clunky). We’re just getting started and we’re excited about how this tool will be able to position your portfolio for more gains, protecting from losses and to find you edge in the crypto markets.
Great ! but you should make video how to use it for begginers in this area :)
Great tool, thank you. Please continue this product.
